Well yes its that time of year again...and once again we trek down to Stanley Park for the Christmas Train. Now some of you may know that the smart ass parks board, and city hall in Vancouver are shutting down the Bloedel Conservetory In Queen Elizabeth Park, and the petting farm in Stanley park. Which is silly. Just plain silly. Its a shame. Sign a petition if you get one. But in the meantime go and see it for yourself. If you have kids really truly, there really is nothing like taking the kids to a train ride and petting farm right at Christmas. And don't forget the firefighters host the bright nights event, so if you go, be sure to bring a donation. The firefighters really bang it out every year for a good cause, The Firefighters Burn Fund.
